| Just when you all thought I was heading for 1:1 scale! Here are a few 4 wide creations I built utilizing HO scale trucks. I am going to eventually "sticker them up" and run them on someone's HO layout at our next train show. At least I know of 2 (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

| Sweet! I'm starting to get really into these microfig scales... Looks real good, I like the way you used the 1x1 plates w/clip (or whatever you call those)... Nice job! -Shiri (At least, on average you're building six-wide now... (4+8)/2 = 6... ;-) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.build)

| Hey man, Your models are really cool! In a related vein, (as far as mixing lego & non-lego components goes) I was wondering if anyone does lego layouts using handlaid track? (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

| Hey man, Your models are really cool! Nice proportions and clean lines. I liked the use of the "corrugated" bricks on the boxcar ends. In a sort of related vein, (as far as mixing lego & non-lego components goes) I was wondering if anyone builds (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

(URL) At the time, I suggested that someone get a cheap HO trainset and combine it with LEGO since the 4Wide is almost perfect HO scale! This is (...) | John, You just can't be satisfied with 6 wide, can you? I was thinking about your caboose and it needs windows. Since you probably don't have access to Gary Istok's collection of windows, you could make some 1x1 looking windows by using the 1x1 (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

| John, Much better! Now, are you going to make a pullman? You could use either the 1x1 brick with the side stud, or if you want something a little bit bigger, you could use a 1x2x1 trans. thin wall mounted sideways for a tall window or a 1x1 clear (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

| (...) No, I'm going to do my taxes;-) (...) Actually, at this scale, I think a plain ol' 1x1 and 1x2 clear bricks would make good passenger windows. And, for those portholes, a 1x1 or 1x2 technic brick would suffice. But Uncle Sam beckons... -John (...) (25 years ago, 10-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
