I believe this subject is covered in one of the reviews. If you haven't
read them, I would encourage you to do so. You can find links to all of the
reviews here:

Since I have not actually seen the physical contents of the box, I don't
know the answer to this question. However, Scott Lytle sent me a picture of
the parts from the box the Georgia Outlet Store received spread all over the
table so take a look at this:

It shows the flex tube as a single long piece so, yes, I will believe it
will need to be cut and I do not know if there is a way to do it to satisfy
all of the models but I would suspect not.

Yes, I believe so although which ones you can build simultaneously I don't
know. You would likely have to make some part substitutions in order to do
so. I believe Eric Kingsley did this in his review. The individual models
were not designed to be built simultaneously. Several of the models
comprise more than one piece of rolling stock and these were designed to be
built simultaneously. To be honest with you, the decision to include
instructions for 30 models was made long after the design phase was
complete. Originally the Hobby Train was only going to feature 5 or 6
models. Building more than one at a time was never part of the parameters
we worked under.

I think so. We'll find out for sure on Monday, March 19th, but it is my
understanding that as the Hobby Train is part of LEGOFactory.com, all of the
elements will be available from LEGOFactory.com as well. In addition to the
30 models from the Hobby Train, I would expect to see a few more of the ones
which weren't selected pop up next week as well.
