Chuck,
Sorry to hear of your difficulties building the model. That is one of the noted
shortcomings of LEGO Factory - the instructions arent too good.
I have not put together instructions for that model, although I do have a LDRAW
file available, if that helps. Typically when building a Factory model, I
dissect the computer model piece by piece to figure out where things go.
Another tip - the F7 and FL9 are based heavily on the LEGO Super Chief
locomotive, particularly the nose design. Instructions for that one can be
found at

Let me know if you need the LDRAW file, or if there is anything else I can do to
help.

| I've finally muddled my way through the build. I am not sure if I am the only person who has built this particular model, so I figured I'd leave my input. Overall the thing looks awesome. It is big....significantly larger than the Santa Fe from (...) (18 years ago, 9-Mar-07, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
