   About the MOC

Since the LEGO motor’s wheels are set so closely together, I wasn’t able to portray it as accurately as I wanted, and so I fudged the trucks to give the appearance of a wider wheel base as much as I dared, and decided to make the MOC more of a toyish version of the prototype. I used that wonderful new slope element in dark red (Hmmm, dark red:-d) for the roof, and I got quite snotty for the front, actually turning my tile-posts backwards(never did that before). Ross added the yellow straw posts for me.

All in all, I’m happy with the result. Enjoy.

JOHN

Hi John,

Very neat little trolley design. I really like your use of the new racer hubs (or whatever they’re called) in the faked bogies. You need to fiddle your lighting for these shots though, all that lovely dark red (I am so jealous of your 1x3 curve collection) looks ordinary red.

Tim

The lower portion of the trolley is red, I think, and only the roof portion is dark red. A lot of the parts on the trucks and the fence piece are not yet available in dark red.

John: Great looking trolley! Love the extended looking truck design.

oh, for more elements in dark red . . .

Jonathan
