  Seven wide Koef Shunter

Hi all, Just sneaking an MOC in here between all the discussions on the new release sets. It's a little Koef shunter (switcher) which I built at seven-wide thinking at first it was a wide gauge train. (2 URLs) BS gallery> The trick on this is the (...) (...) hey tim, very very well done! there are tons of details as there should be, and the 1x6 arch solution is something that would have probably taken me a month to think of. very cool. i'm wondering if you could post the ldraw file for this moc. But... don't get into seven-wide!!! Seven-wide is pretty much (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Tim, I've got to say, even though it has alread been said, great shunter. Chris (18 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Seven wide Koef Shunter

(...) I've enough 9v stuff to keep me going for a bit but I take your point regarding the IR trains - difficult but not impossible in 7-wide. I also look on 7-wide as a wide 6-wide. I've seen some very convincing MOC examples and note that you can (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) It has been brought to my attention that sadly the arches won't work. It seems that the electric train motor DAT is very incorrect (the wheels are too small and the hooks are too low). So if anyone was going to try it, please don't bother. (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)
