Re: Steam engine complex wheelbases (was: BBB wheels sales)

(...) Teunis - I'm not sure more photographs would help, as I'm trying to convert even more of it to plain black at the moment! Tell me what parts of it you can't work out, and I'll try to do some more coloured images in MlCAD. If you did four (...) (20 years ago, 3-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Steam engine complex wheelbases (was: BBB wheels sales)

  Re: Hogwarts Express 4-6-0 engine

(...) Jason, Thanks for the heads up. I'm real happy with what I have, as it's simple. As it is, if one wheel is pushed in, it can only push the other middle wheel to the same extent as the front and back drive wheels, so no rubbing. Also I wanted (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What are these Japanese trains?

(...) Suspend it from the catenary to keep it upright - or use the LegWay software to balance it. Not worth the money though... Jason Railton (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Hogwarts Express 4-6-0 engine

(...) Mine, a few posts back, uses technic flex for drive rods. That keeps the total width down. my folding wheels also don't put any pressure on the outer wheel when the inner one is pushed in, which could make the outer rod rub. The disadvantages (...) (20 years ago, 2-Aug-04, to lugnet.trains)
