Such magnets can usually be found in any electrical component supplier. UK
residents can order them from maplin.co.uk (search the A-Z listing under
magnets). They come in a range of sizes - 10mm diameter by 5mm depth should be
about right and cost around £0.80 each. You could also use other size magnets
depending on the look you want to achieve.
I'm sure if you walk into your local component supplier with a lego magnet and
say that you want something similar, you should get what you're looking for. You
might want to disconnect it from the buffers to avoid confusion and the
possibility of a very long conversation with someone who finds capacitors more
exciting than the opposite sex.
