Criticism and Comments welcome.  (I actually mean, that, with proper
feedback, I would be more than willing to go home tonight and make changes.)

That looks good. The one thing that stands out is the ladder. You make
an effort to recess it at the bottom, but not at the top. Did you try
doing it at the top? You would have to put a tile between the roof and
the ladder, so I don't know how good it would look in person. If you
want the tiles to be flush with the roof edge, you could use two 1x2
tiles on the top of the ladder (mounted sideways) and slide them out to
fill in the gap.

Just a thought.

Thanks for sharing,
Chris

oops this idea doesn't work, because the 1x2-ladder plate bumps into a
tube of the roof brick... You could try a 1 piece 6x6 double angle roof
brick (to give you space to hide the studs of the ladder in the roof),
and offset the top ladder by usings plates and 1x2-with-center-stud
plates on the bottom side of the 1x2-ladder plate.

(...) Thanks. (...) Well yes and no. I was recessing the sides and ends just because it looked neat, then added the ladder as an afterthought. When I got to the top, I overlapped it. Probably not the best idea, but this was still a project in (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.trains)
