Thanks Frank.  You are the 12V guy!  Does anyone have an interest in the

Ok folks, it's time to start really planning this. I'd like to see a
huge 12v layout created which can run several trains at once.

I plan on bringing at least as much track as I brought to BricksWest,
which was enough for a loop with a siding long enough for my 8 car 7740.
I plan on bringing both grey era and blue era track, including blue era
remote points, and several signal tracks, along with some transformers.

I would love to hear from folks as to what they can bring, especially in
the way of transformers (I can bring twice as much track if I can leave
the transformers at home). I would love for people to bring uncoupling
tracks (I don't have any of those), and automatic crossing gates (I have
a couple of those, but don't have them built yet).

If we can get an idea of potential space available, I will play with
Track Designer and propose some layouts (we could try and do the layout
I posted earlier as a home layout).

(...) I have tons of gray-era 12v track that I can bring (probably around 150 pieces of straight and 150 curved) and several right and left points both remote and manual. Plus if more remote points are needed, I know where I can get some MISB. I (...) (22 years ago, 6-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

(...) I've had some good response to this which is great. I do have a question about how much space we will have. I was noticing that the train room is a smaller room this year. If our space won't be too big, I will probably reduce the track I bring (...) (22 years ago, 23-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

Frank, I can get some new 12V switching points if you need them. The Lego Outlet in Dawsonville has something like 2 cases worth... Scott Lyttle (...) (22 years ago, 25-Jun-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

8 days to BrickFest! I don't think I'll get a track plan made up ahead of time, but I think it will be fun to develop a track plan when we get there (and expand if some of the track doesn't show up until later). What I would ask is that people (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org)
