I've had some good response to this which is great. I do have a question
about how much space we will have. I was noticing that the train room is
a smaller room this year. If our space won't be too big, I will probably
reduce the track I bring (and either bring other stuff, or have luggage
which is easier to handle).

Tom Cook and I discussed the train rooms this past weekend.  Train will get
2 rooms, since they're smaller this year.  I believe the 9v layout will be
in one room and the 12v right across the hall.  So there would be plenty of
room for a 12v layout -- more so than the floor layout we had last year.

I'm sending my list of available 12v items to you directly via email.

Great. It sounds like we will be able to have a pretty extensive layout.

Also, I think we can accommodate 4.5v as part of the 12v. We can set up
some sidings without conducting rails so the 4.5v signals can be used.
We can also incorporate a loop or so which shows all the different 4.5v
components that are different from 12v components.

I think we will try and set up the big layout I posted a while ago, or
something similar, so we can play around with some operating.

Trainwise, I will be bringing the following at a minimum:

7740, 7815, 7819, 2 extra coaches, 2 red/yellow "7847" club cars (engine
and 8 cars total)
12v Beyer-Garrat plus 3 blue/red cars
Modified 727 (increased one brick in height to match 7740)
162 alternate model
164 if I get around to building it (TLC's first caboose, though they
didn't call it one)
7735
Other old train cars

I may bring my 7720 (4.5v)

Frank
