Re: NELUG at 04/06 - 04/07 Greenberg show (Plus some bonus footage).

(...) Alex, The Octopus ride was created by Joe Comeau and yes it is fully functional. The mechanism is actually very clever but also very simple. I have included org.us.nelug on this post to make sure Joe will see this and he can explain it better. (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Yes, but in fact the project had already languished for a year, and both Leonardo and Matt admitted being too busy to work on it. New babies, dot com hours, and real life in general can be very distracting. It seemed to me that an opportunity (...) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

Re: NELUG at 04/06 - 04/07 Greenberg show (Plus some bonus footage).

(...) Eric, that was quite the layout. Question: who created the "Octopus" ride and is it fully functional? ie: spinning up and down and seats spinning. I would love to see a video of that in action. (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)

NELUG at 04/06 - 04/07 Greenberg show (Plus some bonus footage).

NELUG just concluded the 04/06 - 04/07 Greenberg train show. This was our most ambitious layout to date. Features included an amusement park with 5 working rides plus a static roller coaster, WWII trains, a huge down-town area, and much much more. (...)   Re: Pictures from 4/6-4/7 Greenberg Show

(...) Nice. The amusement park looks nice and crowded. No one else has posted anything yet I don't think so this is just an appetite whetter. Three shows in one weekend... how cool is that? (NCLTC, NELUG and the combined Canadian show!) (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.org.us.nelug, lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Weelll... DO you have the source, in case Matt can't find it? (don't laugh, I lost some source to a project I worked years on... it's not so much LOST as it is on one of several hundred floppies but not sure WHICH one)... (23 years ago, 8-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Superdetailed F-unit almost completed

After doing much planning and building, my F7 is almost complete. I'll be ready to roll out the red carpet sometime this week. The curves on it's nose will even put the Super Chief set to shame, I can guarantee it. Each fan, louver, and grabiron has (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Matt would need a least a week to sort things out, so I wasn't worried at that stage. (...) That is correct, I thought that Matt may have said that he had found it by now, and given it to someone. I didn't expect him to set up a sourceforge (...)   Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Well, he was waiting.. but now perhaps he's wondering whether the necessary first step is going to happen or not? That step is Matt (or whoever?) finding the code, right, not setting up the SourceForge project. But you still could do that (...) (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

  Re: Track Designer Registry

(...) Huh? I could swear that just a few weeks ago you recommended waiting around patiently for something to happen. (URL) decided to take your advice. Perhaps everyone else did too. ;) Don (23 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)
