    Train Set 113 Advice? —Edward Cox
   Hello. I have just taken ownership of train set 113 - quite an old set but still a heck of a lot of fun! Can someone please tell me if this set was 4.5 or 9 volt? Does anyone have the building instructions (not on brickshelf)? The set is missing the (...) (23 years ago, 4-Aug-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.au)

     (...) approximate year the set was released...if it was before 1991 then the train will certainly not be 9V. If the set was releases in 1991 or later then it will be a 9V train. Keep an eye out on (URL) I'll try and build it as close to the original instructions as possible - but I've noted that the box has different markings to the actual train (...)    (...) Lots of papers of TLC show white baseplates on 111, 112 and 113. Just forget about that: nobody I have heared of has ever seen that in white and I doubt they were ever produced: I'm sure that have been first "handmade" sets for the press (...)
