How is that "1/5" offset accomplished?  I must have missed the original posting
about it - but I love it!  What's the secret?

Excellent creations,HoMa!
I just want brown parts enough to convert to this color my freight wagons!!

There are also some pictures of a red and brown fright car using the offset -
less than 1/2 stud - walls which Gianluca Morelli invented (?). Or who was the
first one using this technique.

Yes,I think I was the beginner...it's 1/5 stud.

Anyway, I see MOCs on the web with an "open-source-aspect", so I build my own
version of that piece-eating way of building.

Kind regards and a big THANK YOU for all the nice building ideas!

Yes,because many brains work better than one,and ideas sharing is a
great,positive thing!

Ciao

Ps:what did you use to remove print from round walls in tankers? I always use
acetone (nail polish remover).
PPS I think you purchased 16 droid escapes,to build the tankers...or did you
just buy 8 and made the other,non-visible side,in white? :-)

(...) posting (...) Hi Shaun, check (URL) for details. That's a scrabble of Gianluca, showing the technic. But there is another slightly different one, I used that one... Regards, Holger (23 years ago, 25-Jun-01, to lugnet.trains)
