Oh, I agree Chris. I would have said the same thing five years ago. I
have been with Lego sets for 20 years now, and I have a hard time with
saying it. But times have changed. I will say the SW sets are wonderful,
I have many now. But overall, look at the models and themes that Best
Lock has, Castle, Military, Suburbia (Houses and commercial buildings
for all of you classic builders (Right Gary? ;) ), Space, commuter sets
(highways with bumper to bumper traffic?). Hmm... Do I remember when
Lego had those? Maybe until 1996-1997 or so? Now we have Race Junior,
Aqua freaks, Ninja, Insectoids, Launch Command Junior, Technic Junior,
and Town Junior! YEAH! And new for this year, Train Junior! Ugh, what a
mess!
If another company has a better product for cheaper, with a better
theme display and the like, I will go to them. If TLG does not get their
act together, my dollars will stop going to them. Period.

I have a confession, I went to TRU yesterday, I had a coupon for when
you buy a $25.00 dollar set, and get a ten dollar set free. I could not
find anything to buy. I looked for 20 minutes for a decent 25.00 set. I
ended up buying a UFO set (the 30.00 ship) for my roommate, and that
Space Port Value pack for the windshield and the front end for my plane
fleet. I traded some good parts he didn't use when we got back. He
bought that horrible Town Junior Police Station for the windows or
something, and they PREPRINTED the Police on the base and the Police
logo on all the windows! What a joke!
