Re: What does everyone think of the Freight and Crane Railway?

(...) No, it is based on some of the Euro engines, IIRC, LGB have a engine somewhat similar in concept. (I think Austrian NG) It's to Lego scale, so figure that it is supposed to be a ~1500 hp engine, so a bit bigger than a 44 tonner (which are (...) (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What does everyone think of the Freight and Crane Railway?

(...) I know this is an old topic, but I have something to say about the engine in this set. I intend to raise the headlights above the level of the end grilles, add an underbelly fuel tank, horns, and different windshields. When I'm done I'll post (...) (24 years ago, 6-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: "No Contact" Homebrew Train Sensor for Mindstorms

(...) I just looked through my pictures and I was surprised to find that I don't have any that show the sensor. I will snap a few close-ups tonight... I also like the idea of doing a more formal write-up with pictures, schematics, and part sources. (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.robotics, lugnet.org.us.nelug)

Re: New MoC: Wagon repair shop

Huw, The accolades are duely pouring over your "wagon repair shop", and I agree. I can't say much more than has already been said. Bravo! I might add one comment and construction technic, if anyone is interested: I'm not sure if anyone has (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

  End of 9V train line?!

I've been just at Germans probably best online Lego® shop www.reimann.de . They have already some of the 2001s sets for sale, but I was really shocked, when I found out, that 9V points and crossings are discontinued in 2001! Does that mean we have (...) (24 years ago, 5-Dec-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: NELUG participates in December 2nd and 3rd Greenberg Show.
