Hi, We were lucky enough to secure one of these Tourist/Club cars in a second hand sale last night and the thought occurred to me - Just how rare are these in the UK? (Or anywhere else to that matter...) I don't recall seeing them in the shops, so (...) (26 years ago, 19-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.loc.uk)

(...) Some very fancy engineering...you are not kidding. The car has to swing like a pendulum (or would LEGO shock absorbers have enough give to allow the the bottom of the car to swing out--maybe weights would help by adding a bit more inertia for (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) 12v Trains is two words. All three (9, 4.5, 12) are. The fact that a match on theme=Trains works at all is because the indices have not gotten cleaned up yet; most all items were first "themed" at Trains, with the secondary characteristic set (...) Just a copuple weeks ago I took the train from Portland to Seattle. It s was the Amtrak (Talgo) passenger train. It has only one axle between cars. I tried to find some pics but ran out of time here is a URL (URL) plan to make one, I think this one (...) (26 years ago, 18-Mar-99, to lugnet.trains)
