(...) Just a bit of followup on this point. It turns out that the trains noise is quite soothing to the baby and will help him fall asleep about 75% of the time. It could be a half round, but the Alpha Team's enemie's base is built on a 6416 style baseplate, and looks like it has a curved wall around the stairs, which are a quarter circle, and the wall would be 4x4 to fit the curve.
