Help wanted with possible trains ideas book [60's]

Last friday I acquired a small quantity of blue train tracks. These also came with a blue battery box, 3 2x4 white bricks with a variety of train wheels attatched, and some papers. From these I've been able to re-create/sort out that there was 1 (...) (24 years ago, 4-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

  Bryan, and Rick Read This

To bad i typed that wrong, i meant 4564, freight rail runner, doh! Also, rick, i use a mac, and am happily using track designer, same one, i just run it in virtual pc. It's great, a tad bit slow, but it's nice to be able to use the program. Braden (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: So who wants to update Track Designer?

What language is the source code for Track Designer? jt ---- James J. Trobaugh North Georgia LEGO Train Club (URL) Clark <jrclark@nospam.aol.com> wrote in message news:39B1E762.297956...aol.com... (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: 4558, 4547, 4554, 4565

(...) 4558, 4547, and 4554 have been discontinued for quite a while, so chances of finding them in a store are next to zero. 4565s are still available from stores in Europe if you're desperate (Such as Hamleys & Harrods in London, or LEGOLAND (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Where's Good Ol Joe Davenport

Does anyone know what happened to Joe Davenports Lego Page, or the site he based some of his creations off? ( i believe the other site was by Michael Dorneich?) they seem to have dissappeared. I loved Joe's site the most of all lego train sites, (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

Re: What happened to Matt's Train Depot?

Okay, so here's the suggestion. Whoever wants to volunteer to do this updating for Matt, go to the page to be updated, choose "View source," download the page to your own system, make the changes, email the new html pages and any source data to (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: end of train???...???

I dunno about you guys, but i'm nervous as hell, the direction lego has been going with sets like 4561 and there new station (god, whoever designed those needs a good slap in the face, or at least a lesson from the person who designed 4554 and 2150) (...)   Re: end of train???...???

(...) Well, LEGO trains have changed voltages a lot, from 12v to 4.5v to 9v or whatever, and something new probably means some new train system, like maybe DCC (that'd be cool), or a new voltage, although I don't see what is wrong with the current (...) (24 years ago, 3-Sep-00, to lugnet.trains)
