  Re: new Lego Train sets?

(...) Maybe not in Finland, but it still part of the 2000 line-up in the US. (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: new Lego Train sets?

(...) Well, according to the Lego Finland it is not. And I haven't seen it in any of the 2000 catalogs. Mika (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Yards

(...) roads (...) In the US the yard goat is whatever power has yard duty. Yardmaster's whim, to a certain extent. Sometimes it's a relatively small engine, like a SW (which I modeled). Almost never would it be a rigid frame like, you only see those (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.org.us.wamalug)

(...) No, it is a smallish animal, somewhat larger than a dog that eats grass...but, in a railway context, it would be about eq. to a 08 or such like (if not a 2x class engine in the UK, american ones tend to be 1500 HP and up.   new Lego Train sets?

I have not been keeping up with this group since the great April Fools joke, so excuse me if this question is redundant. Have we seen the entire lot of new mid-year release Lego sets? Don't they release new train sets every year? I have not seen any (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)

  Query (was Re: Yards)

(...) <mondo snippage> I've been following this thread with vague interest, since I think railyards are neat, and was wondering... I work at a major industrial plant, which ships upwards of 70%(1) of it's product via rail and there is a large rail (...) (25 years ago, 29-Apr-00, to lugnet.trains)
