  Re: Kind of a streamliner

Hi Tim, (...) Yes, must be something like that. It is only silently humming and recently it made a new record of fuel-cell powered engines with amazing 86.7 mph. (...) Thanks, but this is the well known "The grass is greener on the..."-effect ;-) I (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) That's great! I'm not a trains builder, so I can't pass an official judgement on it, but I can say that I think that it's amazing! I love how the roof scoops in on the back. Good job all around! Jeffery MacEachern (4 URLs) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

(...) Hi Andreas, This is beautiful. It is so retro-futuristic. I'm imagining that it is a fuel-cell powered passenger engine from the near future. I love your earlier train and this one is ever better. You're really tempting me back to the world of (...) (20 years ago, 7-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Hello, I would like to show my second engine, which I have designed. It was aimed to look a little bit oldfashioned. (URL) It does not follow any real model, since (to be honest) I do not have any idea about trains, except the fact, that they are (...)   Have fun in Philly, everyone!

I'm crazy jealous I can't be there this year, I had a great time in Cincinnati last year. I know you all will represent the Lego Train hobby well! Looking forward to seeing pictures! JohnG, GMLTC (20 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: Pere Marquette #1225

(...) Brilliant, Anthony! Your Polar Express looks awesome, and very familiar-- Ross and I have just about completed our version (Ross has the tender yet to complete) which we will debut at the NMRA show this weekend. I built the cars and he built (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Pere Marquette #1225

(2 URLs) MOCPage> (URL) Brickshelf Gallery> Here is my MOC of the Pere Marquette Berkshire type steam locomotive #1225. It's actually the very same locomotive that pulls the Polar Express, which is why I replied to this thread. So why should you (...) (20 years ago, 3-Jul-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general, FTX)
