Re: Two British 37s - and another soon!

(...) IIRC there are at least two liveries for the red and yellow EWS. One which has a sort of jagged stripe (like you see on the 66's). I really liked the BR one as it is a brand spanking new paintjob and the colours are almost exactly Lego ones (...) (19 years ago, 4-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

  Samsonite 118 Train set

I just posted the 1968 FAO Schwarz catalog here: (URL) the Samsonite 118 train which has always been something of a mystery. Here's what the instructions look like: (URL) also contains the 223 Adventure set which was a nice find. Enjoy, Eric (19 years ago, 4-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.general)

Re: TCLTC's version of Mathis Club Trolley

(...) Killer Trolley John... Guess I’ll have to build a Tampa TECO Street Car now. And Larry was nice enough take all kinds of images of it last time he was in town and share them with me:) Build on... Robin Werner GFLTC (19 years ago, 4-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: TCLTC's version of Mathis Club Trolley

(...) Ha! Remember: it is a James Mathis design. Although we lengthened it a bit, we resisted the urge to widen it:-) I just got the final few elements needed to complete it, so I'll have to shoot some final pics... JOHN (19 years ago, 4-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: ILTCO at the National NMRA convention in Cincinnati, July 2005

(...) Yep, and for those not making it to NMRA, we've had a request for it to be on the train layout at Brickfest. With the announcement of a challenge/competition over at Brickfest, we're definitely wanting to bring it now! (19 years ago, 3-Jun-05, to lugnet.trains, FTX)

Re: Two British 37s - and another soon!

(...) There are quite a few liveries of Class 37s. I've just completed one in Railfreight grey with red stripe, based on this: (URL) With this livery the roof colour varies between locos - I've done mine in black. I hope to post some pictures soon.   TCLTC's version of Mathis Club Trolley
