  Re: tank cars

I really like the corrigated look of the second design. Very nice work, and fabulous use of otherwise useless pieces! They look like the perfect tank cars for carrying things like liquid nitrogen and other high pressure items. Good inspiring work! (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Consensus for Table Barriers at BrickFest??

(...) Good question. I had not thought about it, actually... I could see different clubs going with their preference, I suppose. (...) I would be interested in other people's thoughts on this... leaving it off makes the layouts more uniform in (...) (21 years ago, 30-Jun-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.trains.org)

Consensus for Table Barriers at BrickFest??

For the lobby area big train display, I am wondering what the opinions are regarding table barriers. Brickfest, to me, is an event where table barriers are not really necessary for purposes of keeping fingers off of the Lego. But the open to the (...)   Re: Just have to post, LOVE the train shed

(...) That ZNAP bridge brought up some recent (OK so NOT that recent) of a ZNAP built by BayLTC at the 2003 BricksWest. Anyone have a good picture of it? And, no, I'm not planning on building a ZNAP one myself. Adr. (21 years ago, 29-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains)

(...) What? Znap isn't part of Lego? That's a large Znap bridge, connected to a Lego roadbed using the half technic stud/half 2x2 brick... Scott Lyttle (21 years ago, 29-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains)

  NGLTC mall open house

Today the NGLTC had it's first open house at our mall "club house". All day long we had heavy crowds, some had come just for the open house, others just happend to be at the mall at the right time. (...) This looks sweet, as does your site, I'll give it a build and get back to you. I really like the modular design and the fact that the yellow lever is used and visible. SteveH (BeLUG) (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains)

  My 1000steineland 2003 sneak preview

For the 1000steineland show in Berlin I decided it was time my BR211 diesel got some nice cars to pull, instead of those horrible shop@home cars (which to me will never be more than partpacks, apart from the hopper) (URL) are 2 Gs cars, as used in (...)   Motorized Switch Machine

Hi All, I've just completed a page describing my motorized switch here: (URL) works with unmodified switches, but I'm not sure if I have the new "stiffer" variety or not, so I'm interested in hearing from someone who knows they have the new style (...) (21 years ago, 28-Jun-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: koef3

(...) Thanks! :) (...) Yeah, I've learned that from you. (...) I've always tried to make my models look like original Lego designs.
