James, We're really on the same track ;-) I've just build a first version of a Dutch double decker train a couple of weeks ago, which strikingly resembles your train, with very different colors, though. I took pictures but they are still in the (...) (25 years ago, 6-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

I dunno, James. That is some funky looking train. I mean the prototype! Your model captures what is a pretty weird train pretty well. Exceedingly well, actually. Why the white tiles on the trucks?? To get the right look when it's not sitting on a (...) (25 years ago, 3-Sep-99, to lugnet.trains)

(...) 10 for width yes. Container height and length vary. 40 used to be standard but there now are 20s, 30s, 40s, 44s and 50s I believe. I dunno what the standard height is. It loaded fine for me here at work, but I know for a fact it won't load at home, even though I am using Communicator 4.61 at both locations, both on NTWS 4.0 SP4. (...) I made a more scaled container awhile back. check out (URL) I have since changed the car that carrys the container, to a shared bogie unit. With 4 containers long stacked two containers high. (...) Yes, they are a bit wider, that is true. But the extra width can be as little as 4 inches a side (in fact on some spine cars it's 0) which in a total width of 10 feet is less than LEGO resolution. The 6-tracklength width of the tables is indeed a fundamental issue as it essentially determines the number of parallel lines without adding extra tables.
