In lugnet.trains.org, Brian Williams writes: ... (...) ... NCLTC just finished a very successful show at the South Hills Mall in Cary, North Carolina. The display was set up for over a month, and ran unmanned, continously the whole time. One (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains.org)

Re: Tri-axle Prussian State Railroad Coaches

(...) Here's a quick MLCAD sketch of my version: (URL) like yours though, as it adds flexibility to the end axles. Mine is still limited by the separation of the two outermost axles, like any two-axled wagon. Perhaps a better method would be a (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

  Mall Show Security

Hi! Its been a long time since I've posted here but thought I'd bring up a question for all the train clubs. NILTC has recently been discussing the issues surrounding security at mall shows (shopping malls). Could those who have actually (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains.org)

  train mass

I only have a few models out of storage, but I decided to weigh them the other day. I only had access to a 440 g max balance, so I couldn't weigh my observation car, but I could weigh my caboose, my GP30, my SD40-2, my new LEGO Santa Fe. Of course, (...) <various bits of snippage...> (...) Yep, John Neal already mocked up some logos for us. We are going to use the top right one: (URL)"MONON, the Hoosier Line" (...) LOL!   Re: New Poll // Train History

(...) wasn't that the reason? as far as i remember the loco wheels had a different angle to the runnung surface so that the rubber bands would not slide of so easily. thomas (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Poll // Train History

(...) I think you might be right Ben, we have been collecting Lego trains since 1972 and even bought a few used sets at that time. My trains have always had train wheels, initially with four studs (as you say) and later spoked. Some of the Lego (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)

Re: New Poll // Train History / Set114

(...) Hi Ben, From my childhood I recall we owned this set, and we got it together with 113, from a frieds father who was a kind of marketing-employee at Lego-Holland. I'm almost 100% certain Set 114 did NOT have any instructions at all! Also not on (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jan-03, to lugnet.trains)
