(...) Those are 2x2 5h girders. They were available in black in 6444 Outback Airstrip, (URL) in red in 1682 Space Shuttle (URL) think 1682 has 8 of them. Conan has a shoebox sized bin about 1/2 full of the red ones. He parted out a LOT of 1682s. (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)

Hi again, I heard somewhere that one should never ask a question that one is not prepared to answer oneself. So I took up my own challenge and, built a decoupler as well. Mine is 6 studs wide (facing the track) by 14 studs long (perpendicular to (...) (25 years ago, 8-Aug-99, to lugnet.trains)
