Re: 12v Trains at BrickFest! - 8 days and closing!

Re-posting for wider audience: FUT: lugnet.trains.org Frank 8 days to BrickFest! I don't think I'll get a track plan made up ahead of time, but I think it will be fun to develop a track plan when we get there (and expand if some of the track doesn't (...)   Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) Well personally I prefer MLTC. But looks like I am out-voted. Guess I will have to continue my crusade in my head only, and make sure that all offical MichLUG/MichLTC notices use the right moniker. Not the left one.... Er it's late, I need my (...)   Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) I resemble that remark! (...) Cool. The flyers use MichLTC, BTW. (22 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

Larry, (...) As if Larry needed to be in another debate! ; ) (...) ambiguous Yes, MichLTC. Although one of these days we will need to discuss it. Back to getting ready!   Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) Way back before our first GATS show I had been referring to us as MILTC... everyone wanted to know what the I stood for. That one lost out. (It was MI, as in Michigan!) Peter (22 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) We haven't had a thorough debate on this so this is just my preference, not a formal answer: MichLTC... it's less ambiguous (22 years ago, 12-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: at what price does the 4561 become good for parts?

(...) $30. Target. January 2001. Not going to tell you where, casue that is my best watering hole for clearance LEGO. ;o) -Aaron- (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

(...) Hey Jason, I have a general question for you guys-- which acro do you all wish to be referred to as? MichLTC or MLTC? Just wondering, John (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org)

MLTC to display at The Great American Train Show

The Michigan LEGO® Train Club will display a 20'x 50' layout, complete with five loops of running trains, three rail yards with a functional roundhouse, remote switches and decouplers, a kids' play area, and much more! The layout is made out of (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.org.us.michlug, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.loc.us.mi)

8 days to BrickFest! I don't think I'll get a track plan made up ahead of time, but I think it will be fun to develop a track plan when we get there (and expand if some of the track doesn't show up until later). What I would ask is that people (...) (22 years ago, 11-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org)

  Re: Engine shed design

Re: at what price does the 4561 become good for parts?

Why is it that in Mike's reply to Ahui the part written by Ahui is missing the lower case k's and l's? BTW I have to agree, you will be hard pressed to get much for the regulator (two of those gathering dust on BL are mine). And I considered myself (...)   Re: PNLTC Centralia Meeting Pictures Up

(...) We have traditionally played this very game (right down to freezing things at 3) every christmas with our relatives. Some really duff gifts are usually in the pile somewhere to make things more amusing. There is no really duff LEGO though so (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org)

Re: PNLTC Centralia Meeting Pictures Up

(...) Ben pretty much got it exactly right. We all brought a small wrapped Lego set or item (valued at $10 or less theoritically) and then drew numbers.   Re: Engine shed design

(...) Thanks, but I need to give LEGO credit for those... I got some inspiration from their design, including most of the window structure. I found the black frames too dark so I went with white to give the place a bit of a friendlier look. Most of (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Call for automated 9v train switches at Brickfest 2002

I think it would also be nice to collect as much as possible links to automated point MOC projects on a single reference page. With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.trains)

  Re: Engine shed design

(...) I like the start of this. I put one set of 4x5 windows on my roundhouse, but they don't let much light in. (I meant it as a way for minifigs (and the viewing public) to see into the roundhouse, versus to let the light in. But I like your big (...) (22 years ago, 10-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains)
