Once again the NGLTC presented a display outside of the Georgia LEGO Outlet store. It was a perfect day for an outside show, and a great day for a crowd at the outlet mall. The layout was pretty much packed all day long with visitors, and wide eyed (...) (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.trains, lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.general) !

(...) The idea is usuful, because I run my trains on both 9V and 12V, so I needed way which is easy and fast. I could probably have a way with both 12V connectors and a 9V connector, but that would not be so easy. Also, this was a first attempt for (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.trains)

After lots of time to think, I've decided to convert to 8-wide. I was looking at my containes for trains, and they started to look real small, so I've decided to convert the containers to 6 and the trains to 8. I'll keep some of my 6-wides, and (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.trains)

I just wanted to say thanks for the kind words. The Technic axle is a #2 not a #3. I also considered using a 1/2-connector-peg-1/2-axle-peg piece too. I might revisit that idea when I run out of #2 axles. The steering piece thingy could be replaced (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad)

(...) I love your truck design. I might suggest using an axle piece 1 size shorter than what is in your display, (a "2" instead of a "3", or similar) but otherwise I have no complaint. Hey, looks like a nice setup you've got there. Is that from a specific event? I like the bridge there, it's not too huge a rise so that it looks unnatural. The roundhouse looks pretty cool too.
