  Re: My pics (digital)

Hey, looks like a nice setup you've got there. Is that from a specific event? I like the bridge there, it's not too huge a rise so that it looks unnatural. The roundhouse looks pretty cool too. The colors are a bit McDonald-ish though. ;-) And, why (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.org.ca.rtltoronto, lugnet.trains)

  New non-magnetic coupler design

Hey all, I finally had the chance to run my trains this weekend. If you don't know, I have been building my trains 8-wide, and the size and weight of my cars was causing a problem. The surging that the long cars cause as they go through the corners (...) (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.trains) !

  Re: New MOC online

(...) cutting a 9V connector in half and putting 12V pins on one end? That seems a lot less work and also less invasive of a more expensive part. Still, you get points for elegance! Thanks for sharing. (23 years ago, 28-May-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: My Agonizing Decision

I would do both, convert 7722 to 9v AND buy two 'build your own trains' - say a small loco and a large loco and tender - from them you get the other combinations. Buy any Lego train you can. David (23 years ago, 27-May-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: Great train related web sites? Now: G Scale

  Re: Just testing the water?

Eli, You couldn't have said it better. We do have a need for all those things in the trains realm, esp. the steam engine wheels w/siderods. -Harvey (23 years ago, 27-May-01, to lugnet.trains)
