  Custom loco MOC

All, After many hours and several versions, I have just posted the final prototype (read: still in the works) of a locomotive MOC on brickshelf: (URL) is still in design phase (thus the flat gray color scheme, and wrong color windows), so go easy on (...) In lugnet.org.us.nclug, Sheree Rosenkrantz writes: <snip> (...) Well in terms of the skirts the only other thing I would say is to put them on as the last step in setup. Did I read in a past post to Lugnet about a final rinse in Borax adding fire retardant properties to fabric. Is this correct? Does anyone (...)   Re: Skirts for Tables at GATS

(...) Just to clarify: The only show where we were *required* to have flame-retardent skirting was the NMRA 'National' show. Our tables had a 1x3 (?) board running vertically as the outside edge, the velcro was hidden on the inside. It gave a nice (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.org.us.nclug, lugnet.trains.org)

(...) We were required to use fire retardant skirting at one of our (GMLTC) shows, but I don't think GATS specifically required it.   Re: Release of LEGO Classics?

  Release of LEGO Classics?

Last fall I posted an article that asked a question: Did the release of grey train doors and windows indicate that a new LEGO train offering in a grey color scheme was in the works (see (URL) we have confirmation from LD that they are indeed (...) (23 years ago, 23-May-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: RCX motor pulsing

(...) Yes. When you set the power for an output port actually you select the duty cycle of a square wave. The granularity depends on firwmare. Now that y'all are done hashing this out, I just thought I'd ask: did anyone bother to check Peeron.com?   Re: RCX motor pulsing

I have controlled LEGO trains via the RCX many times. The question is how to control the speed of the train under a finer ganularity then just the native power levels. snip ...this comment has promise!
