  New trains on Lego site.

Congrats LD for fulfilling your committment and hitting the date pretty closely! 4 new locomotives, Very european in appearance. 5 color schemes each. Not bad. 20 permuations possible. That's a good start. The BricWorx(tm) coaches should work very (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Flash on Lego site.

Just wanted to post a small protest (not a complaint, just a small protest) in case anybody at Lego is listening in. If your accessing the Lego site from a T1 line, you HAVE to have Flash installed in order to even get into the Lego site. But if I'm (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 20 (yes TWENTY) new trains at LEGO.com/Shop - Themes | Trains

(...) Well they do have the small black "train" windows on the cab (kind of hard to see in the pictures) so there are some "special" pieces...but of course they don't have the glass in the windows. jt (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: 20 (yes TWENTY) new trains at LEGO.com/Shop - Themes | Trains

(...) They look great indeed, I like the small ones with tender. I am though disapointed that there are no special train parts like doors or windows, which would make them great sets for parts. They also added the electric set, so - please give us (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: 20 (yes TWENTY) new trains at LEGO.com/Shop - Themes | Trains

Now that the pictures can be seen, one can notice a difference between the small engine with tender and the small engine without tender. If you notice, the small engine without tender does NOT have the numer 317 on the side. Instead of the 317 (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) True enough, but I'm able to view at least most of the new products (haven't yet checked them all, and some of the alternate images aren't "available"). Dave! (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: train prices have now appeared and you can order them, but still no pics

(...) If the conversion works out close to what you are quoting, I think that that will be pretty good. I'm just gonna wait now and see how long it takes them to get it all in place over for us US/North American customers. Rich -- Have Fun! C-Ya! (...)   Re: train prices have now appeared and you can order them, but still no pics

(...) Well you EU folks are lucky; we here in the US still have no price availability. :( On the first new set on the list, the large black engine, I'm hoping that the price is not going to be outrageous, especially since it is only under 200 (...)   Re: train prices have now appeared and you can order them, but still no pics

No prices yet in the US, but I figure they're updating 3 different dbs for the page - one for basic info, one for pricing, one for pics. They'll show up sooner or later today or tomorrow, I'm sure. (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ home (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) There are at least two of those in the <set:725> train set, I think there is at least one other set that has one of those but I can't remember exactly which. (URL) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: pictures of the LEGO fest in Muelheim, Germany

(...) I believe that such a cone was found in some old homemaker sets, as well as an old rocket base (pre space) but I cant remember the set numbers. (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: 20 (yes TWENTY) new trains at LEGO.com/Shop - Themes | Trains

(...) Same here. I'm disappointed but only marginally so. I'm just happy that we are getting more train stuff! Would I like to be able to see everything, right now? Well of course I would, but I don't mind waiting a bit longer as long as the stuff (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.loc.uk, lugnet.trains)

Re: pictures of the LEGO fest in Muelheim, Germany

(...) question - the cone on top of the chapel looks like 4x4 base to 1x1 top - I've never seen one like this - where's it from? I've searched the parts ref for 'cone', but couldn't find anything. The Titanic model is just amazing, too. Wow. Jason J (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains)

Re: Extent of 'custom' trains now revealed

(...) Well, I'm happy that there's a green one (even though I've just built my own green engine). I'm dying to order one. A sort of muted "I told you so" from those of us who figured it would just be a colour swap, not a full-blown engine designer (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains)

Re: 20 (yes TWENTY) new trains at LEGO.com/Shop - Themes | Trains

(...) Sorry but this just emphasizes TLC's lack of sophistication in developing their web site. It's extremely unprofesional to put something like this up. All the broken links to pictures makes the site look worse than it already is. If something (...) (24 years ago, 23-Apr-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.lego.direct)
