Re: First draft of my gravel silo MOC

Nice job Frank. It's funny that I've been working on a simlair project. Recently I finished a hopper car design that can be unload with a set of spring loaded doors on the bottom. The idea is that I'm going to have a RCX be able to unload the cars (...) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

First draft of my gravel silo MOC

Hi, I have just uploaded some pictures of the gravel silo I was working on. You can find the pics here: (URL) building was based on a picture in the Kibri catalog (1999/2000). I plan to also build an unloading station with conveyor belt to (...) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains) !

  Re: Droid Escape Tank Car

Oh man, I think Kevin's longer tank cars are great! They are what inspired me to try again on my tank car design. The reference tank car I was going after is here: (URL) tank car is more squat (squatier?). I think Kevin's tank car is more like: (...) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) Either or (CLRV or ALRV) (I think of them as the same, even though they are not quite). I would rather seen the streetcars, because it would have made it possible to get streetcars back into Scarborough, whereas ICTS is never going to get (...) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

(...) To be honest, I prefer Kevin's (the "two" sets above are early and show versions of the same cars.) The "side-railing" stuff on yours is nice, but the cars are too short IMO. SRC (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

  Re: A New Bridge

Love those corbelled arches! It would be interesting to see if you could build the approaches in the same style, too. Just another ten buckets or so of gray bricks :-) -Bill Leue (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)

NGLTC Holiday Atlanta History center show pics

A little late but we have posted some pictures from the Christmas NGLTC show at the Atlanta History center. This was a different kind of show for us since it wasn't at a regular train show, but inside of a historic Atlanta home. It made for a tight (...) (24 years ago, 6-Mar-01, to lugnet.trains)
