  Re: Set 7904 extra's

(...) I have not much idea if it is the new trend or common around other sets, but my 8288 crawler crane came with an unsual amount of extra pieces which cannot be explained by alternative models. There are even quite a few big pieces remained. (...) (18 years ago, 11-Dec-06, to lugnet.town, lugnet.year.2006, FTX)

  Set 7904 extra's

Anyone else noticed that set (URL) 7904 - City Advent Calendar 2006> seems to have an unusually large number of extra parts included?   Re: Trust Bank

I really like this, ACPin. I've always wished that your photography was better, though. Do you set up lights? I see flash glare in several shots. Do you set your camera to manual focus, and/or manual f-stop? Large, interesting areas of your shots (...) (18 years ago, 8-Dec-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: Mickey's Diner in St Paul MN

(...) :o) Nice! But, sorry. Not it. The building is not in Detriot or a large city. And, being that I used to produce art books, it was featured in many. Images of it have been painted by many painters of a specific genre. (hmmm, weren't my diners (...) (18 years ago, 6-Dec-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: Mickey's Diner in St Paul MN

(...) Thanks! (...) Hmmm. Not a skyscraper building. Only one business in the building. If I built interiors, which I do not, there would most definitely be a counter area that served refreshments. Sorry for being a tease, but that is all. ;o) I am (...) (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.town)

Mickey's Diner in St Paul MN

Hello, A while ago, when I was deeper into my diner phase, I built a diner inspired by Mickey’s in St. Paul, MN. I was inspired to build it by looking at the works of painter John Baeder. (His work also inspired my AlMac’s Diner, which I later found (...) (18 years ago, 5-Dec-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town)

Re: Sniffing around for a firehouse (Was: Manchester's Millyard in the news)

Being a fan of the old style fire stations like these, I must say, this part of the country is probably one of the best areas for the historic fire stations. Where I grew up they had several of these, and the best part is, most of these are now (...) (18 years ago, 30-Nov-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
