I love the colour choice (that orange is my faviourite lego colour and the dark red and sand green suit each other so well). Standing out amongst so many great details are the glass door, ‘stonework’ on the bottom of the left building, and overall texturing of the patterns on each building. I can’t express how taken I was by this MOC... it is just so impressive (especially for a non-castle MOC ; ) Great work all round!

Thanks, very much! These are two of my favorite colors as well. I built the first version of the dark red building about 4 years ago in red. Just waiting for the opportunity to do it in dark red. With the dark orange, I have taken 3 of my vacations in the last 4 or 5 years in San Diego, CA which is a short drive to LLCA where they have dark orange bricks in pick-a-brick. I have bought bags and bags of them. (I just love San Diego as well, so vacationing there works out for me in both respects)

Thanks again!

Jonathan
