| | Why so many scowling minifig faces in the new town sets?
|
|
I bought 7034 last week (great set!) but couldn't help but notice how so many policemen of these new town sets have angry faces. What's wrong with smiley faces? Did one of Lego's "focus group" determined that children didn't like happy faces? Or an (...) (20 years ago, 4-Sep-04, to lugnet.town)

(...) Well, my wish list is pretty mundane: 1) A string of Xmas lights based on 1x1 round plates (coloured transparent ones). A wire linking them is not a problem as it would make the lights look more authentic. Blinking as an option would be cool. (...) (20 years ago, 1-Sep-04, to lugnet.town)

As you may have seen in my other post, I'm getting into adding lights for my town models. I'm also an electronics hobbyist, and I have a bunch of bright LED lamps that I'm starting to think about working into my LEGO models. But if I'm going to go (...) (20 years ago, 31-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)

| | How to hide the wires?

My son and I made our first lighted model today -- we have an open-back model of a split-level home, and the basement was rather dark and dreary, so we added two standard 9V light bricks on the supporting columns at the back, facing into the room. (...) (20 years ago, 31-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)

| | Re: Car Information

(...) You're talking about real-life car dimensions, right? Just go to the car manufacturer's website, select the car you're curious about, and it should list the dimensions under the Specifications section, or something with a similar name. -Bryan (20 years ago, 30-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)

Sup all, Does anyone know where I can find information on car's length and width? I was gonna try to make a minifig scale car but can't seem to find that information anywhere. Any ideas would be helpful. Sean (20 years ago, 30-Aug-04, to lugnet.town)
