  Re: Feelings over 2000 sets . . .

Yes, Tod, they are. I have the set. Look at the second picture on this link on the first floor of the building ((URL) I used them in my aquarium and you can see them clearly in this shot. I don't agree that those sets are highly juniorized. (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: The Mystery of the non existent Hospital

(...) So let me get this straight. What you're saying is that I not only have a hard to find Exxon Gas Station, but a hard to find space shuttle AND the first hospital? And to think that I always thought that was the second or third hospital (I had (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Feelings over 2000 sets . . .

(...) That's mainly what's kept me from going hogwild over the new Arctic sets -- seems like a lot of air in the boxes. OTOH, I think 4 of the large pre-fab pieces in the big base are those awesome 4x4x6 concave corridor corners in Gray! (Can anyone (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.starwars, lugnet.town)

Re: The Mystery of the non existent Hospital

Brad Hamilton wrote in message ... (...) A couple of observations I've made about the early US LEGOLAND range is that articulated minifigs appeared in the US a year later than in the rest of the world. Why this is I have no idea. Secondly, the range (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

New models, pictures, and more on my web site...

I've made significant improvements to my web site since I last posted it. It now contains several different LEGO towns/cities. You can find it at: (URL) I originally posted the site to LUGNET, I've made the following enhancements: - I ran the (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

Re: The Mystery of the non existent Hospital

I have that catalog and have always wondered about it. The other sets in the image were freely available at the time. These were the first LEGOLAND town sets available (at least in the US) with posable mini-figures. I never saw the hospital set on (...) (25 years ago, 2-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

Re: The Mystery of the non existent Hospital

(...) Wow, ya-mon, that looks a *lot* like a real set! Even looks like it's got a helicopter landing pad on the roof. Wouldn't it be cool if 626 (a 1978 set) was that helicopter? :-) --Todd (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.admin.database)

Yet another wallpaper (and help, please)

I've added a Miniland scale car to my wallpaper page: (URL) doesn't seem to be serving jpgs correctly, though, so you can take a look at the 800x600 here: (URL) styling is inspired by "muscle cars" from the late 60's and early 70's. However, I'm not (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.modelteam, lugnet.build, lugnet.general, lugnet.cad, lugnet.town)

The Mystery of the non existent Hospital

While perusing a 1979 US LEGO catalogue the other day I came across the following page. Nothing too unusual about it except that it features a set that I've never seen listed on Lugnet or anywhere else for that matter. (URL) the hospital ever sold (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Millennium City

Re: Millennium: All good stuff, Maynard! I'm doing my first town. Since it has acquired one or two emerging characters, I thought of doing a day-in-the-life walkthrough. Sort of a Bill and Mary episode. This would supplement the do-it-yourself (...) (25 years ago, 29-Feb-00, to lugnet.town)
