Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Joe, Yes, another great addition to the fleet! I like the overall shape of the craft...looks as if it's ready to take on a whole slew of squids! The hinged wings are a neat aspect to an already streamlined design. The drone looks good (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Abston Church of Christ hi-res images

I wrote you an email in response to this beautiful MOC. Do you happen to know if you got it? No need to respond to it if you dont want to. Just curious. I tried to explain how your MOC was impacting me. :) "Amy Hughes" <lugnews@amyhughes.org> wrote (...) (22 years ago, 15-Apr-03, to lugnet.build.arch, lugnet.town)

  Re: bug

(...) Cool. (...) It's only moderately flimsy. It survived the 4 year old boy test reasonably well at least. Build one for yourself and you'll see ;) Allister (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Minifig scale snow plow, motorized

(...) Here is a bunch of pics of it on the brickshelf gallery. Sorry if the images are big, I'm still a newbie with my camera and image software. Comments are appreciated! (URL) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.town)

  Re: bug

(...) Nifty little car. Looking through the instuctions I see some great building techniques used in construction that I'll definitely be borrowing sometime. How is the model in terms of sturdiness? It looks flimsy in the instructions, but it's (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: bug

(...) I think it looks like a Bugeye Sprite with a hint of Porsche speedster (especially view bug.3). In any case it is a cute car! Maggie C. (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

  bug

Here's another 6-wide car. This one became a bit of an exercise in half stud offsets (once you start forever will it dominate your MOC), but I'm rather pleased with the result. I'm still in love with those curved bricks too. I'm not sure how this (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Thanks! I'm finding that Aquazone is a challenging and fun theme to play with, and with the Sea Monkeys, pretty different. Speaking of which, I spotted your calimari...beautiful work and use of the arm parts You made long graceful tentacles, (...) (22 years ago, 14-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Hi, I didn't originally see your response (I usually only monitor a post for about a week after I post it). Thanks for the compliments. The Star Wars Museum was an enhancement of the Euphoria Monorail Station. Your guess is correct in that the SW (...) (22 years ago, 13-Apr-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Thanks! (...) funny thing is, the unmanned sub really still needs a mother ship. I just literally built a barebones frame for it. Most small scale stuff is tough to do...it's really easy to overdetail or greeble things, which is why I tend to (...) (22 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Brilliant! I love the SeaHunter and the unmanned sub puts some recent efforts of mine on the small scale of aquazone to shame... Great work and use of old and new slants... God Bless, Nathan (22 years ago, 12-Apr-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.space, lugnet.aquazone)

Re: Alpha Team's newest sea vehicle...

(...) Thanks, Gil - and it was good to meet you online! The variable wing was originally going to be a axle setup so the engines could rotate, but I quickly learned that the ship would require gearing to keep the engines in place. Also, the ship (...) Hi all! Call it tiny, call it pathetic, call it cute, here is my first real MOC since the end of my dark ages (oct 2002).
