Re: Plasticity MOCs: mountain, heaven, and more

Wow! There is so much good stuff here. The sun and the tornado are very cool, and the hanging stuff, such as the airplanes are great! 'Heaven' made me laugh- very creative idea. The train and monorail layout looks pretty good, as well. Dang, I wish (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Plasticity MOCs: mountain, heaven, and more

(...) Thanks, Kevin. Since my original display consisted only of official sets, the whole city seemed too 2D. I feel that hanging some planes and other structures from the ceiling really helps. This also gives all of those paramedic vehicles (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Cool, received Main Street Legend 10041 today!

(...) Snip (...) Snip (...) guess... So far, I'm not using mine. (...) snip (...) This is my guess also. Funny, I always thought that the building was a garage only-no dealer with a (separate?) office above. when I read your post, I remembered that (...)   Re: 10041 Main Street Stickers

(...) Ha Ha! That's still a 22 year old mystery for me as well! I remember when I first had the set in the early 80's & my mom & I went over & over the instructions & box & every suggestion she would make I'd say something like: "No..it's not there, (...) (22 years ago, 2-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Re: Plasticity MOCs: mountain, heaven, and more

(...) <snip> (...) Andreas, Great to see some new pictures of Plasticity! The heaven area as well as the sun and clouds are very creative. One of my favorite parts of building town/train layouts involves the process of suspending things like (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.town)

Plasticity MOCs: mountain, heaven, and more

I've been adding some MOCs to my city over the last couple of years and decided to take a few pictures before Minizilla took down the house. BURPy mountain with road, monorail, and train access (URL) under construction (URL) and Tornado (URL) (...) (22 years ago, 1-Mar-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.trains, lugnet.announce.moc) !

  Re: Pepsi building

(...) I see no debate here(as I said in other posts in this thread) just happened to notice it is all and like I said in other post no biggie.... Chris..aka Mr. Leach (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Pepsi building

(...) Indeed. (...) I honestly don't think that there is *anyone* here that wants to do that. Some of us like slagging CHRIS a bit but that's just because we like him. I thought your building was very neat and was glad to see it. (...) So should we (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Pepsi building

For the record....I did the black building. Although I was inspired by Mr. Leach's work (and no offense, but I sincerely doubt we can say that ANY of us are THAT GOOD), corporate logos have been around and done forever, so no idea is truly original. (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.town)

  Modified 4600

In search of some large wheels in grey, I recently became the proud owner of set no. 4600 (URL) was looking at it and started 'filling it out' a bit. After a couple of hours, the result was this: (URL) must say, building in Jack Stone scale is (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-03, to lugnet.town, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.loc.au)
