  Farm Tractor

I have been wondering why TLC has not made a farm sub-theme to town since I was about six,(and I mostly build Space stuff.) Well I came up with a really good way to build a very close aproximation of my father's Farmall Model 'H' Tractor. This was (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.town) !

Hey, I saw this on Brickshelf earlier. Very nice. I really like how you did the part on the side where you can see the engine. I didn't reallize that the "space gun" piece came in red. I'd love to see some farm themed sets from Lego. Town (at least (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

I forgot to mention in my first post that a yield sign was painted orange by my NLSO to make a "slow moving vehicle" warning sign. (...) Doing that in 3 studs wide took a few revisions to make it sturdy. I will have to take a picture of the tractor (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) Mike, Great engine detail, it sure looks good to me, maybe the best farm tractor I've seen. George (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

(...) This is great! It's got lots of engine bits showing, and well, it's tractor shaped... Something I wrote about the last Technic tractor but didn't post: Farm equipment under the Christmas tree... it still happens, but it's a smaller niche. By (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

(...) was (...) good (...) I uploaded a picture of the actual tractor I based the model on. As soon as it gets moderated anyone interested can compare them. I would like to restate that it was built from memory as it appeared about 10 years ago. The (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

(...) Yes. I've always said that a molded cow would be a very useful part. They could use the same molds as the horse for the body and would just need a new head mold, probably with a clip that you could put one of those horn pieces from the (...) (22 years ago, 23-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) Where did you get all the red laser guns though? (22 years ago, 24-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

(...) Fleet Farm??? Is that a WI thing? In Michigan we only have (had) Quality Farm and Fleet, and Tractor Supply Center. For a while my father in law was into making HO scale farm dioramas... (22 years ago, 24-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

(...) We have them here in MN. They are like the General Store of the past on massive steroids. My favorite store, up there with REI co-op and Target:-D -John (22 years ago, 24-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

(...) was (...) good (...) Well Farmall made them red, and as that is what I grew up seeing, green looks sort of wierd to me as a tractor. It would be cool to see one done in green though, I'll look forward to it. :-) (...) As noted here: (URL) only (...) (22 years ago, 24-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

(...) has (...) fans (...) Yes the Gungan beast was absurd. It is proof that molds must not cost that much in relation to total sets produced. Factor that into how many different sets cattle, even chickens, and pigs could be used in. I remain (...) (22 years ago, 24-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Farm Tractor

(...) Yah dere hey. I tink dere is an "&" sign on da Fleet Farm logo, and it's on account of Mr. Mill dat it's named Mill's Fleet & Farm. Just like all de udder Fleet End Farm type operayshuns, da general idea is dat dey service yer tractor and (...) (22 years ago, 24-Aug-02, to lugnet.town)
