Last year at this time I organised a Town building contest which turned out to be a lot of fun. I'm gearing up to do the same thing this year, beginning Feb 1st, so I'll just letting all you townies know that it's coming up (now you've had a chance (...) (...) Yes, it is a 5 wide base on the front, and 6 in the back. That is pretty much standard of what I have been doing for the last 5 years for comercial trucks and ambulances (see my other brickshelf pages) although with the 2 "older" forestry (...) (...) Wow! that is some wrecker. There are a few big ones around here, but I havent seen any as 'crane-like'. They are more like the one in the movie 'Heat'. Just big & intimidating. Very nice. (...) Believe it or not, that is a real truck in operation by a private towing company here locally. There are only 15 like it in the world. Just added several pics on brickshelf of a few new creations, and >cough cough hack hack< for those who know me for my ORIGINAL :o) creations in fire apparatus, I actually built a bus that has already been done by Jerome Teissier. This is a 6-wide semitrailer hopper truck with opening engine compartment, removeable trailer (the kingpin isn't as realistic looking as Bram's, but the scale is closer to correct), and the hopper doors under the trailer open and close.
