Re: Todd, can we have an Arctic posting group?

(...) My thoughts agree, at least for the time being and probably through most if not all of 2000. Someday, though (maybe 2001 or 2002?) it'll probably make a lot of sense...who knows? I bet a group like .duplo.toolo or .duplo.dinosaurs would have a (...) (25 years ago, 3-Jan-00, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.town)

Re: Todd, can we have an Arctic posting group?

I don't think specialized newsgroups for Arctic and the myriad of other subthemes would get enough traffic to be worthwhile. Better to keep it in lugnet.town, I think. -- Paul Davidson Todd Lehman <lehman@javanet.com> wrote in message (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.admin.general, lugnet.town)

Does someone want to split a 6544 Shuttle Transcon 2 set?

I saw this old (1995) set in a store today. I could use the pieces that comprise the space shuttle, but if someone is interested they could buy the other half of the set (the blue jumbo jet) off me. It looks like it has some of those little windows (...) (25 years ago, 2-Jan-00, to lugnet.town, lugnet.market.buy-sell-trade, lugnet.trains)

  Futbol anyone?

Has anyone gotten the Futbol sets? If so, can you tell me if the numbers on the backs of the minifigs are stickers or not? Thanks, Erin -- (25 years ago, 1-Jan-00, to lugnet.town)

New wallpapers--Mine truck and Pentapterigoid Star Fighter

I've added two more pics to my "wallpaper" page: (URL) first is the mine truck I brought to MindFest. The second is a hangar scene I created for my Pentapterigoid Star Fighter, including a "cradle"[1] for holding the fighter and a raising and (...)   Re: Town 2000?

Kevin, (...) Wait, what do you think your post is - not depressing? I keep dreaming it's real, then waking up to reality - That's DEPRESSING! :-( Great ideas, BTW: (...) Of course. (...) Also known as people-movers, wanted very much! See thread: (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Town 2000?

(...) Well, I don't know too many girls who have ponytails-from-the-t...-the-head, mostly only hanging-low-above-the-neck. Shiri (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Town 2000?

(...) The third one (ponytails, I'm guessing) hasn't been in use for years. I had a few. I lost most, had one more left. I hated it. (...) I think he was referring to "girl" hairstyles, the middle one being the guy at the bar, and he didn't count (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Town 2000?

(...) I agree, but do you really want to go back to THAT discussion? (URL) the "horrible quote on Scala webpage" thread dealt with that (partly, at least). Town (I'll say this once again,) is NOT all about disasters, and its high time TLC should (...) (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: January 2000 Catalog...

(...) Yeah, these aren't the only sets that have gone up; Train accesories have gone up, and some belville sets too. The new sets also seem much more costly on price per piece value. -Shiri (25 years ago, 31-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  January 2000 Catalog...

Today, I recieved my January 2000 Lego Shop-at-Home Catalog. It seems kind of early, and the catalog is loaded with all the new 2000 sets. There are also a few sets in here that are going to seel out quickly, such as a small Pirate set and what (...) (25 years ago, 30-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Arctic sets are awesome!

(...) I am okay with the seperate polybags. I just mix all the pieces up in when I build, I like the challenge, but it is very easy for sorting pieces. All 1997 and 1998 Town sets and all 1999 City Centre sets are packed like this. Spaceport, Artic, (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Re: Arctic sets are awesome!

(...) I am impressed with the new arctic sets as well. The polybag method has been around since Town Junior, but the most important aspect has been the good parts, and the ability to build a lot of model variations. I have so many model thoughts on (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

  Arctic sets are awesome!

Hey fellow AFOLs have you guys been as impressed as me with the new Arctic subtheme? I love the way each individual set component (i.e. vehicles, structures, etc) is polybagged with a picture of it on the bag. This is a great way to do things and I (...) (25 years ago, 28-Dec-99, to lugnet.town)

Re: Todd, can we have an Arctic posting group?
