An answer. Yes. Take the 5 stud 1x1 squares (best way to discribe them, 4
sides and top have studs, bottom has plate opening) and place 4 red 1x1 plates
on it (3 sides and top). Then plant on a 1x1 red round brick. Presto, one
fire hydrant.

| I've nearly completed construction of a small Lego town called Legoville. It's mounted on a table and is constructed on 3x32 plates spread out in a 3x8 rectangle. As of now, the town has the following places and shops - Fruit Stand, Pizzeria, Bank, (...) (25 years ago, 20-Oct-99, to lugnet.town)
