(...) to (...) They are great for making children-figs. The school in my town is full of pigtailed girls and baseball-capped boys. Kev Z #142 (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

(...) Uh... not to nitpick, but, can't girls wear baseball caps too?... I know I do... -Shiri -- I'll be on vacation between July 15th and the end of August... please forgive slow replies to emails/posts. (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

        Re: Race sets? —Ben Roller
(...) Sure, but unfortunately unless you put on a female face they look like boys. Little girls don't usually wear that much make-up. It's just like the long hair peice makes minifigs look like girls, but thankfully we have more male-specific faces (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

         Re: Race sets? —Kevin Zwicker
(...) Speaking of facial hair... Is it just me or have the guys of Lego Town gotten "hairier" this year. The construction workers (blue guys with the tractor on their vest) used to have a tiny mustache, the new orange guys have beards, sideburns as (...) (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

         Re: Race sets? —Timothy Jones
(...) One thing--you can't put a brown hair piece on a head with black hair printed on it, and vice-versa with other colors;sometimes this is annoying (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

         Re: Race sets? —Ben Roller
(...) I agree. This is almost as annoying as not being able to put hair AND a hat on someone. I guess that would be hard to fix though since there doesn't seem to be a standard hat size. Ben Roller (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

          Re: Race sets? —Greg Majewski
(...) But you CAN put hair and a hat one someone! You just need a bit of glue. Have you checked out Sandou's page? (recent CLSOTW, check the left hand list) he does a great job of it, especially on his "Modern Girls of Japan" minifigs. Greg "We are (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

        Re: Race sets? —Kevin Zwicker
(...) Sure they can. But I have found that if I use a female-fig head (with eyelashes and lips) with a baseball cap (I have lots in my town), the minifig doesn't look like an elementary school child. But maybe that's just me. Kev Z #142 (24 years ago, 9-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)

        Re: Race sets? —Shiri Dori
(...) Hehe. True. Maybe because elementary school girls don't often wear makeup. :-) But that's the thing... girls don't always wear lipstick... (A me-fig would NOT be a "lipstick babe"... I never wear lipstick, and rarely any makeup. :-) Prolly a (...) (24 years ago, 10-Jul-00, to lugnet.town)
