Question on crane parts (was Re: 2009 City)

(...) Ok, check out the picture of the crane here <<img (URL) Am I correct in thinking that the boom of that crane is not one piece but actually something like 10 1x6x5 (?) cross-braced pieces placed in alternating orientations with funky supports (...) (16 years ago, 28-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

  New part in crane set

I was mulling these new parts over while walking to work today: (URL) I was muttering to myself about them being yellow but then I thought they might be good for a spine car or the inside bottom of a container car? (I don't know the exact (...) (16 years ago, 27-Aug-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  Re: Lounge Chair

(...) Small, yet elegant and functional. In a world where many of us get caught up in building enormous creations with thousands of pieces, this illustrates that the value in a MOC is not necessarily in the quantity of pieces. A very creative (...) (16 years ago, 25-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Lounge Chair

One of my newest models is made from only 9 parts, but I think it's a pretty cool thing. (2 URLs) It's a lounge chair (chaise longue), as you might see at a beach or poolside setting. Perfect for a minifig resort! I'm working on a large model that (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: 2009 City

Almost all of those sets look like they'd be good future purchases (even though I don't need any more construction equipment.) My favorite is 7632, the crawling crane. Very nice work. The other crane seems a little funny looking to me. Maybe its (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 2009 City

(...) A better shot of the farm set: (URL) Looks like the inverted windscreens. Jonathan (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 2009 City

(...) It is a definite possibility. I guess we'll find out once: a) we get our hands on our own US version of the catalog, b) we get our hands on the set. If true, it will make for a nice addition on some train/town layouts. Have Fun! C-Ya! Rich (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

"Richard W. Schamus (legoman34) .net>" <richwschamus@comcast<nospam> wrote in message news:K5yHBA.6Gp@lugnet.com... (...) I'm come closer to believing there are two of these on the silo: (URL) - Windscreen 3 x 4 x 4 Inverted I'm banking that the (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 2009 City

(...) If you look at the full size image you can see a seam. I'm pretty sure there are indeed two of the 6059 panels. (URL) Jim (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: 2009 City

(...) The picture of the silo is too blurry to tell what it is. It could be 4 of this part in red - Slope Brick 75 2 x 1 x 3 Inverted (URL). The harvester part, I think is probably correct, as noted previously. Have Fun, C-Ya! Rich (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)
