    2009 City —Jonathan Lopes
Some intriguing stuff: (URL) I was thinking the other day that I'd like to see a bulldozer appropriately sized for minifigs. The one in this collection is a bit large but nice enough for a set. Jonathan (16 years ago, 20-Aug-08, to lugnet.town) !

        Re: 2009 City —Ted Godwin
I have been captivated by the car in this small set: (URL) The horse trailer looks suspiciously BURP-y but I can see myself buying the set just for the car. (16 years ago, 20-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

         Re: 2009 City —Jonathan Lopes
(...) Same here. I like it myself. I don't like to have official sets on my display, but that one would be tough to pass up. It reminds me of Pierre Normandin's vehicles. . . Jonathan (16 years ago, 20-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

          Re: 2009 City —Jeff Barnas
(...) this set brings me back to the paradisa theme. i like the cows in the new farm set also. (16 years ago, 23-Sep-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: 2009 City —Clifton D. Chambers
(...) I think the horse trailer is made up of two of the following in white: (URL) and four of the below parts also in white: (URL) The other parts look like various recycled parts from the LEGO pallet. I can think of some interesting alternative (...) (16 years ago, 23-Sep-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

         Re: 2009 City —Steve Bliss
(...) Really? It looks to me like the sidewalls are made of these pieces: (2 URLs) And I'm pretty excited about getting these parts in white, in a smallish set! (...) :) Steve (16 years ago, 20-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: 2009 City —Richard W. Schamus
(...) I would tend to agree with you Steve. And..... COWS! Can sheep be far behind? Maybe pigs? We may end up with a veritable barnyard finally! Have Fun! C-Ya! Rich (16 years ago, 20-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

         Re: 2009 City —Ted Godwin
(...) Just the photography perhaps but I thought the front of the trailer looked like a single part. Two of those corner bits in white would be cool! (16 years ago, 20-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

         Re: 2009 City —Jim DeVona
(...) If you look at the full size image you can see a seam. I'm pretty sure there are indeed two of the 6059 panels. (URL) Jim (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

        Re: 2009 City —Jonathan Wilson
Those sets look GOOD. I can see quite a few new parts in there too: The front end loader bucket arms are new, the loader bucket may be too. Possible new windscreen on the front end loader? New piece used as lights on e.g. the roof of the dump truck (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

         Re: 2009 City —Timothy Gould
(...) Not actually new but rare up until now. Started life in the fig sized bionicles IIRC (...) From Speedracer. (...) That one also features on the steamroller (...) Look new to me. Seems the same piece is in green on the combine harvester. (...) (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

(...) Can it be this one ? [LDrawPart 4872:4] [LDrawPart 4872:2] Erik (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: 2009 City —Richard W. Schamus
(...) The picture of the silo is too blurry to tell what it is. It could be 4 of this part in red - Slope Brick 75 2 x 1 x 3 Inverted (URL). The harvester part, I think is probably correct, as noted previously. Have Fun, C-Ya! Rich (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: 2009 City —Richard W. Schamus
(...) It is a definite possibility. I guess we'll find out once: a) we get our hands on our own US version of the catalog, b) we get our hands on the set. If true, it will make for a nice addition on some train/town layouts. Have Fun! C-Ya! Rich (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

         Re: 2009 City —Jonathan Lopes
(...) A better shot of the farm set: (URL) Looks like the inverted windscreens. Jonathan (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

        Re: 2009 City —Scott Wardlaw
Almost all of those sets look like they'd be good future purchases (even though I don't need any more construction equipment.) My favorite is 7632, the crawling crane. Very nice work. The other crane seems a little funny looking to me. Maybe its (...) (16 years ago, 21-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

Question on crane parts (was Re: 2009 City) —Rafe Donahue
(...) Ok, check out the picture of the crane here <<img (URL) Am I correct in thinking that the boom of that crane is not one piece but actually something like 10 1x6x5 (?) cross-braced pieces placed in alternating orientations with funky supports (...)         Re: Question on crane parts (was Re: 2009 City) —Jonathan Lopes
(...) I think you are right. A few others have noticed this as well. Check out the link I note in this post: (URL) Jonathan (16 years ago, 28-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)
