Re: New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

(...) Roy, we're building a new list of fire model links to put on the Town home page. See (URL) you like a link to this BS gallery, or some other page? Kevin ---...--- Craftsman Lego Kits & Custom models: (URL) Lego parts store: (URL) Guild of (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

(...) Very nicely done, Roy! I have been meaning to try and build some fire equipment for a while, and I think this MOC may be the final inspiration I need to build. Thanks for sharing! -Matt :) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

(...) Thanks! Actually, that's the bumper of another of our engines, E84. E82 (the one the model is based on) has just a flat bumper, hence the one on the model. As for the wheelbase - you're right about that. I think I should remove one stud from (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

Re: New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

(...) Roy, Very nice, really captures the flavor of the real deal. Looking at the pics on the stvfd.org website and your Brickshelf gallery I'd have to say I prefer the updated extended bumper with the hose bed and pre-connect (seen in (URL) and (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town)

Re: New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

(...) Hi Roy, I like it a lot. The wheel base looks a little longer than the prototype but it gives a good feel to your version just the same. The length of the cab looks great! Excellent detailing as well. The rig that your model is placed on: is (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

New MOC - STVFD Engine 82

Hi all, After a long period of not building much, I finally got around to making something new: A model of Seminole Trail Volunteer Fire Department's (URL) Engine 82>, a 1993 Pierce. (URL) I volunteer at this station, so I took some pics in its (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX) !

  Re: Brilliant station by dagealka

(...) Its a work of genius IMHO. although I don't think it contains any SNOT techniques that haven't seen before, it seem to have them all in there. What makes it great tho, is the way they are melded together to create a building thats full of (...) (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Working Minifig-Scale Mailbox

(...) Thanx! Sorry, but what's "AU"? (...) Good idea for some things, but I try to stay away from Trans-Pink :) I might pick up some somewhere along the way, for the insides of things. Are they based on standard Lego units, at least? (could it be (...) (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

It's so hard to make a working anything in fig scale that a castle fan like myself will come out of the woodwork to compliment this 'newfangled' contraption ) God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: Brilliant station by dagealka

(...) My goodness. This might either inspire people or make them give up the hobby. I won't make any SNOT/kleenex jokes, but will say, there is a ton of SNOT! Love the tan crates and the yellow pallet jacks among many other wonderful details. Along (...) (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town, FTX)

  Working Minifig-Scale Mailbox

This is my latest creation - small, but pretty cool, if I do say so myself. I've made it for the <vlc.ca VLC>'s Show in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada.   Re: Fire Dept List (was Re: 411 on Brian Gallant?)

(...) Thanks, Kevin! The fire association has fractured into two groups, but it would be nice to have one place on Lugnet that someone could find fire-related Lego links. Also, here are two awesome Brickshelf folders that are sometimes overlooked by (...) (18 years ago, 17-May-06, to lugnet.town)

Fire Dept List (was Re: 411 on Brian Gallant?)

(...) I had hoped that the fire association pages would between them have lists of fire-related stuff - but one has now vanished and there's not much on the other one! So, people, add links to your and other fire equipment pages to this list, and (...) (18 years ago, 17-May-06, to lugnet.town)

  Re: 411 on Brian Gallant?

(...) The reason is great news for Brian, but bad news for the Lego community. Brian got a job as a permanent firefighter for the same department that his father works for. But his real-life firefighting duties are keeping him too busy for Lego (...) (19 years ago, 16-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Re: 411 on Brian Gallant?

(...) Oh, yeah, I'd forgotten about Tom. Thanks, Dave. It might be handy to have these type of links on the town page for easy access. Hey Kev-- maybe have a header that is inclusive of ALL Fire related MOCs? :-) JOHN (19 years ago, 16-May-06, to lugnet.town, FTX)
