School Buses - both hovercraft and normal

My latest creation is two creations in one. I'm posting this to both town and space, but if you reply and only talk about one of them please trim the newsgroups accordingly. First I created a Lunar School Bus, which is a hovercar/rocket school bus (...) (16 years ago, 15-Sep-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, lugnet.space, FTX) !

Re: Looking for ideas for building warehouse style lights

"Jonathan Wilson" <jfwfreo@tpgi.com.au> wrote in message news:K6zArA.6EB@lugnet.com... (...) I work for an electrical contractor and we install two different styles typically: The first is an HID (high intensity discharge) "highbay" fixture. (...)   Re: Looking for ideas for building warehouse style lights

(...) Are you asking about florescent lights (two long tubes) or incandescent (large bulbs)? I have seen both in warehouses etc. The incandescent lights would easily be made by using a large radar dish with a 1x1 transparent cone as the "bulb". (...)   Re: Looking for ideas for building warehouse style lights

(...) Is there a photo link you could direct me to? It isn't clear (to me) which type of lights you are referring to. Interior lights? Exterior? Thanks, Jonathan (16 years ago, 11-Sep-08, to lugnet.town, lugnet.general)

Looking for ideas for building warehouse style lights

I am looking for ideas on how to produce lights similar to the style you see on the roof of warehouses, warehouse style retailers etc. The only stipulation is that they must be minifig scale and must have a single stud on top as the attachment point (...)   Re: Question on crane parts (was Re: 2009 City)

Question on crane parts (was Re: 2009 City)

(...) Ok, check out the picture of the crane here <<img (URL) Am I correct in thinking that the boom of that crane is not one piece but actually something like 10 1x6x5 (?) cross-braced pieces placed in alternating orientations with funky supports (...) (16 years ago, 28-Aug-08, to lugnet.town)

  New part in crane set

I was mulling these new parts over while walking to work today: (URL) I was muttering to myself about them being yellow but then I thought they might be good for a spine car or the inside bottom of a container car? (I don't know the exact (...) (16 years ago, 27-Aug-08, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.town)

  Re: Lounge Chair

(...) Small, yet elegant and functional. In a world where many of us get caught up in building enormous creations with thousands of pieces, this illustrates that the value in a MOC is not necessarily in the quantity of pieces. A very creative (...) (16 years ago, 25-Aug-08, to lugnet.town, FTX)

  Lounge Chair

One of my newest models is made from only 9 parts, but I think it's a pretty cool thing. (2 URLs) It's a lounge chair (chaise longue), as you might see at a beach or poolside setting. Perfect for a minifig resort! I'm working on a large model that (...) (16 years ago, 24-Aug-08, to lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.town, FTX)
