Well, I rescued Ga-Koro, went to Po-Koro, talked to Haku, the comet-ball-salesman, and Onewa (I think that's the Turuga's name...), and I got the Pohatu-key-thing and went in his cave, where I came face to face with a Rahi Scorpion-type (...) (23 years ago, 22-Jun-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Take the Koli ball next to the kid in the Koli field (who is waiting for someone to play with him), not the ones the vendor has. No need to trade. Then take the infected Comet ball to Onewa. I noticed some things seem to respond differently based on what you did previously. For example, after this quest you are told to see someone to get something (no spoilers unless you want them), and unless you talk to the villager who says (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Aha! Yes, you're right. The trick seems to be -- maybe it's only for me -- talk to the Koli player, say "Goodbye." Turn around immediately, and the Koli player is gone and the ball is there waiting to be acquired. *Then* even I can pick it up, it's (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

So far, though, I've run into the same problem giving the Letter to the astrologer, as I've had when trying to give the Infected Koli Ball to Onewa: the game locks up. I've (...) (...) Um, this doesn't seem to work. These "give the object to the Turaga" puzzles seem to be unlocked by a particular sequence of threads in the conversation. OK, following an old thread & replying to myself, in hope of helping someone else... There is some sort of incompatibility bug in the online game. I was using Netscape and couldn't give the Koli ball to Onewa. I switched temporarily to Microsoft (...) (23 years ago, 6-Aug-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
