Re: Bulk Bionicle tubs at TRU

Hey guys, I'm not a bionicle fan. I say this to illustrate the fact that I know very little of bionicle sets and parts and their use and the way people "play" with them. My lil' brother-in-law is having his birthday soon and I know he asked for (...) (22 years ago, 9-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

  Crystal Reef

(URL) Some of you guys have come up with ways to make nano-scale Moonbase modules, but I figured why stop there? Why not make them so they'll fit in with a standard Moonbase layout? After all, there's an added potential for scale-based humor. When I (...)   Left Over Crab

I found myself with quite a few leftovers after making a near-canonical combiner of three Toa Metru sets. Near-canonical because I substituted Whenua for Onewa. This turned out lucky because I found a use for the claws: (URL) Crab-like thing.> (22 years ago, 6-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

  Looking for: Lids

Looking to buy lids of the new Metru sets off of people. Accepting Black and Dark Red, only though. Email me or respond in thread if ya got some. :) Rick (22 years ago, 3-Apr-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, FTX)

Re: NELUG layout at 3/27 - 3/28 Greenberg show (Animated King Kong!!! included)

(URL) (...) Thanks for posting this, Eric. If anyone would like to see more photos and short clips of Kong and some of the other animated features of this section of the display, I've put up a page (URL) here>. -Mike "Count Blockula" Crowley (2 (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Now then, don't be silly. It obviously utilises a hydrostatic integrity field to enhance the surface tension and prevent boiling. This is clearly evident from how the swimmer is fully suspended, even though he hardly breaks the surface. If you (...) (...) Yeah, I should have included the word miniscule, but I defer to those in possession of the facts; I could easily have been off by an order of magnitude. (...) Ewwww! Actually, I always suspected as much, but I wasn't sure about your plumbing. (...) (22 years ago, 24-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)

(...) Could be worse. I've gotten so used to posting in forums that I sometimes close the window after only hitting the Preview button. (...)   Re: Neptune's Moon Lagoon

(...) Solar pull on the Earth's tides is pretty weak compared to the lunar pull. It'd probably be even weaker compared to terran pull on the moon. Tides might fluctuate an inch or two throughout the lunar month, but not enough to get a good surf (...) (22 years ago, 23-Mar-04, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.space, lugnet.build, FTX)
