  Re: McDonalds & Bionicle Pens...

Got mine at the Tustin Ranch McD's a week before the toy promotion started, also saw them at the Huntington Beach store (employees were wearing them around their necks). Interestingly, the instructions explain how to attach the lanyard (cap with (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

I never expected to *like* these Bionicle things, but now, I'm hooked. I missed #2 at McDonald's - can anyone help me out here? I would like to have two of them - will buy or trade.   Re: What is up with McDonalds

(...) This is not uncommon for restaurant giveaways. If you think about it, there really isn't any reason for them to pay a lot of attention to release timing. The numbering is useful for making it easy for people to keep track of which ones they (...) (25 years ago, 14-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: McDonalds & Bionicle Pens...

(...) Thanks guys, Don't worry Matt, I wasn't accussing you of starting a rumor - I knew I saw it somewhere official, but couldn't remember where; now I know.   Denmark Copper Masks

(...) I do believe you, but here in the San Fernando Valley, I haven't spotted them either and I have covered at least 15 Mickie Dees. I'll keep looking. -Dave (25 years ago, 13-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: McDonalds & Bionicle Pens...

(...) Well, I certainly don't want you to run around aimlessly looking like a fool, and I didn't just start a rumor (i don't do that sort of thing when I can help it...)... Here's the link to the LEGO Writing System web site, where they tell us (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  McDonalds & Bionicle Pens...

Here's a question directed at all the Southern California members out there... Has anyone found a McDonalds that has the Bionicle Pen? I'm in the Long Beach/nw Orange Co. area & I haven't been able to find one. Every McD I ask has no idea what I'm (...) (25 years ago, 13-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Two silly items

(...) Perhaps I should explain what I meant by overpriced train set. I have yet to see a train set priced in the $25-$30 range that was 'ready to go'.   Re: TRU exclusive bionicle

  Re: Copper Masks

Asked at the TRU here in Belleville, IL. They were supposed to get the promo stuff, did not get it, don't know when they will. Side note, they had about two full shelf displays of the Masks boxes, @ 2.99 each - whereas WalMart, KMart & Target are (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Tohunga question

  Re: Tohunga question

Mark I think you've got them all. However, for clarification, Tohunga Maku does NOT wear a great mask. She's got the Huna mask which is a Noble mask NOT a Great mask. Hmm...maybe some gender issue here? :) However, I would have *liked* if Lego had (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

  Re: Tohunga question

Excuse my ignorance, but what other Tohunga's are there besides the 6 from McDonalds & the extra guy from the CD set? At any rate, this is how I understand those 7 to match up: Tohunga Huki -> Toa Pohatu (orange - brown) Tohunga Onepu -> Toa Onua (...) (25 years ago, 12-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
