These are 2 Tohungas I got at McD's. I wasn't really into the bendy throwing arms so I decided to convert them to Turagas. (URL) built the standard Turaga bodies but used the feet from the Mcdonald's toys. I also swapped out the mask on the blue one (...) (25 years ago, 10-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle, lugnet.build)

The TRU promotion ran pretty smoothly up in the North Seattle area. You had to go to Customer service at each one and request your masks. In most cases I carried 2 copies of the poster with me to reference. Ended up going to 4 different TRU stores (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

Actually, I was in on TRU and saw a kid doing that. Let the manager know, and he walked over and took the kid to the info desk. Didn't see the exchange, but I think he was going to make the parent Uy all the boxes the kid had opened, or ones that (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)

It probably was because I bought just the toy instead of the whole Happy Meal. I asked them for one of each, but the said the only had one (Onepu) and so I bought one of him for $1.06 (including tax I assume). Ian (...) (25 years ago, 9-Sep-01, to lugnet.technic.bionicle)
